 Ponor Monastery is situated at an altitude of 1300 m, in common Ponor at a distance of about 40 km from Aiud - the nearest town.The village Ponor is situated in the mountains Trascau, featuring a landscape specific mountain developed with a flora and fauna spectacular and climate characteristics   make it a special place for me and the point of view tourist is a great place.It is Ponor Monastery abbot Father Irineu Curtescu.Because of health problems, returned to the country, the Antim Monastery in Bucharest, where he cared for the father Boghiu Sofian, in the last two years of his life. In Bucharest, is loved and respected, and his departure caused an endless sadness among those who know and appreciate it.After the Technical Commission district planning, urban planning and public works of the Alba County Council approved the documentation to build the monastery and with the blessing of Archbishop Andrew, Archbishop of Alba Iulia, in 2002, work began to raise the monastery. The church has the patronage of "Resurrection" and "Holy Hierarch Nektarios.The Monastery Ponor ordinance monastic life is rough. It eats once a day (3 pm), never meat (or fish) and Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night is the all night vigil.That after vespers than at 17, the program will rest until 22.30 when the officer begins that laststhrough the night at 7-8.In other days, the commit Miezonoptica, Matins, Hours, Divine Liturgy, requiem, starting at 3 am.I have visited the sanctuary and my opinion is that any Romanian or foreign must visit this unique place in this novel.How beautiful is Romania and many famous and charming undiscovered places is here.In conclusion I would say that is an incredible place Ponor Monastery and you get here if you feel relieved and with God.

Peles Castle

        Peles Castle is a castle in Sinaia,Romania,built between 1873 and 1914. It is considered one of the most beautiful in Romania and Europe.Peles Castle in Sinaia,the summer residence of the kings of Romania, was built at the wish of King Carol I of Romania(1866-1914),the plans of architects Johannes Schultz and Karel Liman,and was decorated by famous designers J.D. Heymann Hamburg, August Bembé in Mainz and Berhard Ludwig in Vienna. Peles Castle is one of the most important of historic buildings in Romania, with unique character and is historical and artistic value, one of the most important monuments of its kind in Europe of the second half of the XIX(nineteenth) century!.After the Revolution of 1989, Peles and Pelisor were reintegrated into the tourist circuit. In 2006, the Romanian government announced the return of former castle King Mihai I of Romania.Contrary to rumors, the castle was not Romanian state sold for the sum of 30 million euro. Restitution was made effective on February 20, 2007.Although privately owned Royal, Michael decided to keep the quality of the museum of the castle, leaving the tourist circuit!I say to all who have never visited the Peles Castle, Sinaia they pass by to come and visit the castle.  I visited this wonderful place and the right to say I was impressed with the way it was built and the architectural style.
